Style development

In our class with Zoe I designed 3 2d designs that  will be in my upcoming collection, This task was just to experiment the type of colors and designs I want to use. For the first designed I was inspired by the Venus dress 1995 by mugler. This blue and baby pink dress is inspired by the sea shells you find on the beach, with this dress I wanted to give the illusion of the the person wearing it coming out of the shell, making the top half of the dress ocean blue to signify her being the sea and the bottom of  the dress being the shell. For the second design I decided to take inspiration from butterflies, I wanted to create something that stood out from the others, behind the butterfly wing hanging from the top right off her shoulder is a peach colored blouse matched with a ruffle skirt paired with white knee high boots. For the last design I decided to create a cheetah body suit paired with power shoulder sleeves. This design was inspired by my love for the cheetah animal, I feel the patterns of a cheetah paired with a body suit gives another level of sexiness, to complete this look I have paired it with strap boots which connect to the suit.
these however are not my final designs, these are just developments and practice.
