Space Planning\ floor plan

For my space planning I am making a space within a space, for a spa when incorporating a pool within the building, is all about creating a flow that goes well with the rest of the building. The pool area itself should be a retreat, a space within a space, where the water and the bright tiles in the pool becomes the center of attention in the room. The lighting from the arches will bring the effects of natural light. Space planning is an important aspect of this design. It involves considering how people will move through and use the spaces. The goal is to create a balance between the available space and the requirements of the client, whether it's for a home, office, or any other environment.

When we talk about "space within a space" in interior design, it refers to the concept of creating distinct zones within a larger area. an example of this is an indoor pool within a spa, I can apply this method by designing the pool area with different floor materials, changing ceiling design, or lighting.

I have Planned the space for a spa that includes an indoor pool, a reception, a spa room, a food area, and an open hallway. In the planning image above I have created a flow of movement of spaces. The reception is welcoming and easily accessible, setting the tone for the entire spa experience. From there, guests can move to any of the rooms leading up to the main pool area. The spa room and food area are the only rooms here that are fully covered for privacy. The food area is a little open pavilion, and the spa area is a comfortable space where guests can unwind and get their spa experience. The pool is the central feature which is why I have made it easily accessible by creating a straight hallway in which one needs to walk straight down to access. It is visible from the reception to attract guests. The pool area is designed to bring a sense of calm and relaxation. These spaces all complement each other, with a cohesive Nigerian Hausa design theme that shows in each room.
