Materials Research ( fabric Painting)
For the materials in which I would use for my 3d outcome, my original idea was to create a top using cheetah print, but over the weekend I have thought it out and changed my mind. This time I will be using a white/creme Linen material for the top in which I would be using fabric paint to create hand drawn patterns of flowers. This idea was inspired by contemporary high fashion brand KAI.
As a fashion design student and artist, painting on fabric is something I have always wanted to do! It's like taking your clothes and turning them into your own personal canvas. Imagine being able to wear your own artwork. So, why do I love the idea of painting on my fabric so much? Well, it lets me add my own special touch to what i am making. I can use different colors, patterns, and techniques to create pieces that are totally one of a kind. Doing this I can experiment with all sorts of cool effects, like watercolors or bold brushstrokes, to make my designs really pop like in the images above. Each piece becomes a little work of art, filled with my personality and style. I get to feel the texture of the fabric, mix my own colors, and see my designs come to life right before my eyes.
Painting on fabric is also a way to be more eco-friendly. I can use sustainable fabrics and paint them myself. It's all about making clothes that are as good for the planet as they are for my style.Painting on fabric is fun, it's creative, and it lets me make clothes that are totally unique to me. As a fashion design student and artist, it's definitely a good way to bring my designs to life.

It would be good to see your experiments here and also which fabric paints are you using and which material are you using ?
