     Hi my name is Marvin Madubugini and welcome to the spring term. This winter break I watched a lot of movies and series but the two that stood out to me were shameless the USA series and Saltburn the movie. I really loved watching shameless, it did not only give me entertainment and laughs but it thought me to be greatful no matter the situation I am in. It also showed me family comes first and what would you do or how far would you go for your family. On the other hand Saltburn was a rather fasinating movie set in Oxford, England in the 90s. Staring 2023 finest man alive Jacob Elordi and co star Barry Keoghan. This movie was a bit confusing at first watch but after i rewatched it again I learnt that the movie is all about a boy Oliver who was in love with a friend he met at Oxford University. This movie shows me I have to love myself before learning to love others, I loved the plot twists in the movie it kept me on my toes not once but twice. The Interior in the palace the movie was set in was also very eye catching. 
  Over this break I became obsessed with Kosi Okafor popularly known as Kosithecreator on instagram. I love his style he uses in his digital paintings. Kosi is a digital artist, autodidact raised in Nigeria, Abuja. I first saw a work of Kosi on my instagram explore page, I immidiately fell in love and wanted the recreate the way he painted. He normally paints in monochrome which is outstanding. 




I also looked at artist and Photographer Lucille Giwa-Amu. Shes a nigerian artist based in canada and her work focuses on womanhood. Her style of painting is colorful abstract. I love the way she plays with colors.
