Reflection

 Reflecting on my experience with the art portfolio subject I have tried so many things. Learning to work with wood, plastics, and clay was like unlocking new levels of creativity I didn't know I had. Each material had its unique texture and possibilities, which was fascinating. I loved the experience of molding clay, the cutting and using of machines in woodworking, and the sculpting of plastics. They all challenged me in different ways, pushing me to think about how I wanted my final 3D project to be. In this term I have researched artists I did not know before and i have found out new styles with design in different cultures  In my final project, I combined all three materials to showcase what I had learned. The wood provided a sturdy base, the clay added an earthy touch, and the plastics offered a smooth finish. It was really a reflection of the skills I had learned during the course.   during my process of making my 3d work, I have built the structure out of wood, in the picture above I have painted the wood trying to imprecate the color of terracotta, i mixed blue, white, yellow and red.   to create the straight demarcation between the blue and blue I used masking tape to make it straight and even To make the texture of the paint look rough like cement I used a sponge to dab on the board poir to that I used a paint brush to put my first layer of paint.
